I'm Mel, I'm a senior graphic designer and art director here in Chicago. I’ve been designing for 13 years now, mostly as a lead designer within a publication or marketing department at both non-profit and for-profit companies. This experience has allowed me to dive deep into an organization’s brand and embrace projects of a variety of industries and mediums from product photography to logo design to magazine layouts to web design to event marketing to dappling in motion media and video editing in after effects. Photography has always been a large part of my life and way for me to broadcast my creativity, which I think is why naturally I’ve gotten into print/editorial layout related work. I'm excited to venture into new industries where I can use my design skills to create beautiful, organized, and impactful projects for the public.
