Regularly the AHA participates in communications for United Against the Flu and other relevant immunization initiatives lead by the CDC, FDA, NIH, HHS, AMA, ANA, and state health/hospital associations. In 2020 following the Covid-19 pandemic, the Covid-19 mRNA vaccines were the latest public health campaign that needed to inform the public to protect the health of communities nationwide. We did several public information campaigns to insure individuals and parents have accurate information and guidance resources to discuss with their clinicians and help protect our most vulnerable and at-risk populations from severe infection.
